It is almost that time of year again...Student Registration! Ware Shoals School District 51 will open the 2025-26 school year with our annual student registration event on Tuesday, July 8th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at each school. Please pay attention to the information below concerning New Students and Returning Students.
Returning Students: Parents of Returning Students will receive text message information including a SNAPCODE unique to their child that will be used in the registration process and a Live Link to the Returning Student Registration Forms. These text messages will go out through the WSSD 51 Apptegy messaging service on July 4th at 12:00 PM. This information is vital for the online registration process. On Sunday, July 6th at 8:00 AM, the Live Link to the Returning Student Registration Forms will open and be available for online registration. The SNAPCODE information can also be brought with the parent for use in registration at each school. Computers will be available for the registration process at each school.
New Students: New Students will be required to register at each school on Tuesday, July 8th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Computers and staff will be available to assist with the registration process at each school. If registering a New Student, please bring the following documentation: Student's Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Proof of Residency, current South Carolina Driver's License (Parent) or other legal identification, and any other legal documentation for the student.
Ware Shoals School District 51 is in the process of switching to a new online and Point of Sale payment system through PowerSchool. This new payment system will provide parents and students flexibility when making payments for school fees, field trips, and a variety of other school payments. The new system is not quite ready to go for online school fee payments during registration. Our hope is that we will be able to receive Point of Sale payments for school fees at each school during registration. However, we will also have personnel available at registration to take cash or check payments for school fees. If you have questions, please contact the schools for more information concerning registration.
