A free three-day golf clinic for ages 9-18 will be offered the weeks of July 20 and 27 at the Ware Shoals Golf Course. The first session of the Phil Balentine Youth Golf Clinic, sponsored by the Ware Shoals Community Foundation, is scheduled for 5-7:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the first week, then repeat for other registrants during the same hours the second week. Several local college and high school golfers will be leading the instruction, which will be offered in a fun atmosphere to make the clinic enjoyable for all.
