Recently, a tornado caused widespread damage to North Central High School. Our students gathered donations and school supplies to send to their peers in Kershaw. Mr. and Mrs. Hodge and Mr. Wood are shown with the NCHS band director, Mr. Nix. The supplies filled the entire back of his truck! We are proud of our students, who stepped up to serve others in their time of need. LEARNING...SERVING...LEADING is our motto!

Congratulations to the WSHS Fishing Team of Hunter McGee and Ethen West, who finished 5th out of 108 teams in Saturday's "Palmetto Boat Center High School Tournament!" We thank Coach Dale Gilbert and our boat captains for their time and expertise. We have three fishing teams, two from the high school and one from the middle school. Team members enjoy the sport of fishing, but they also learn so many valuable life lessons and skills...integrity, gratitude, communication, being on time, being prepared, etc.

It's looking a lot like Christmas around here, as our students complete the "DESTINATION GRADUATION" tree. Each student created an ornament for the tree, many proclaiming their graduation year! For seniors, it's just a few months before we wish them "Merry Graduation!"
