COVID update: All counties in SC, except Laurens and Bamberg, now have a HIGH incidence rate. No parent or legal guardian is required to be present at the time of the vaccination. Students 16 and older may sign for themselves. Information and consent forms may be found at the following site. We will have a vaccine clinic next Friday, August 6, from 2-5PM at the WS Community Library. This will be for students ages 12 and up, staff, and community members. Self Regional will administer the Pfizer vaccine. The second dose will be given August 27. This is a walk-up clinic, so you do not have to sign up…just show up!! WSSD 51 has been approved to provide FREE MEALS to ALL students enrolled in our district and children 18 years and younger in our community under the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program for SY 2021 - 2022. Children do not have to be enrolled in WSSD 51 to be eligible. All children not enrolled in our district must sign up (use link below) to receive the free meals for pick-up Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Sign up is required each week for all meal requests and will begin after 3:00 pm each Thursday and end the following Tuesday at 3:00 pm for the next weeks meals.
