Today is Greenwood Promise Day, so we are teaching all students that they can attend college! The Greenwood Promise is a place-based last-dollar scholarship program to offset the remaining balance of tuition and fees for high school graduates who reside in Districts 50, 51 or 52. The Promise is currently in Phase 1 (tuition provided for 2 years of technical college). Phase 2 is close to being funded (tuition for 4 year university). Visit www.greenwoodpromise.com to learn more or to donate. The promise is an investment in our greatest resource...our children! We are very grateful for all donors. DESTINATION....GRADUATION....next stop - COLLEGE!

Join us in congratulating our Million Dollar Band for their 4th place finish in the State Championship that was held Saturday, October 30th. Fourteen bands competed in the 1A division. The band is directed by Christie Hodge and the Drum Major is Olivia Free. We appreciate the overwhelming support of parents and others who helped during the competition season. Students worked incredibly hard to get to this level, and we are very proud of each one!
